What data we collect

We collect minimal data:

• Email address — only if you voluntarily subscribe to The Local Loop newsletter or sign up for a service. Stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to us.
• Analytics data — only with your consent. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on site, country). GA4 anonymises IP addresses. We do not use this data for advertising.
• WhatsApp messages — if you contact us via WhatsApp (+65 8033 1803), your messages are stored by WhatsApp under their privacy policy.

Cookies

We use one category of cookies:

• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — only set after you give consent. Used to measure site traffic and improve content. You can decline these and the site works fully without them.
• Consent cookie — a small item stored in your browser's localStorage that remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics. Not sent to any server.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any third-party tracking beyond Google Analytics.

Data storage

Newsletter subscriber email addresses are stored in a private Google Sheet (Google LLC, US). Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy

Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC under their data processing terms.
